God's Attributes

Immanent

Psalm 33:13-14
13 The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men. 14 From the place of His dwelling He looks On all the inhabitants of the earth
NKJV

God pervades and sustains the universe, yet He is always distinct from it. This is His immanence. He is everywhere, yet not in everything. He is personally and intimately involved, yet distinct. This rules out the ideas of the New Age movement where concepts such as the "force" rule that we will all merge into the Godhead.

Proverbs 5:21
For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, And He ponders all his paths. NKJV
