"Mystery"

1 Corinthians 15:51
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—
NKJV

In the Bible, the concept of a mystery is something previously hidden from mankind, that is now revealed by God. The term occurs three times in the Gospels, four times in Revelation, and twenty-one times in Paul's letters. Generally, the term refers to major doctrines of God and Christianity related to the formation of the Church body, the union of Gentiles and Jews in one spiritual body under Christ (Eph. 1:9, 10; 3:8–11; Col. 1:25–27).
